Welcome from our Foundation Principal
It is my privilege to welcome you to Green Square Public School. Opened in 2025, our foundation staff, students and families epitomise all that is important in a strong, cohesive and supportive school community. Founded on a culture that prioritises authentic purpose, deep learning, creative mindsets, innovative thinking and meaningful relationships, our school is full of hope for the future. When children and their families come to our school, they experience a sophisticated web of overlapping, dynamic relationships and opportunities at work. Everything we do, from our language to our learning design, is intentional and aligned with our core beliefs. Purpose fuels our practice.
Aligned with our beliefs are a set of promises we make to all members of our school community. We promise to ensure relationships are at the heart of all that we do; to nurture the whole child; to frame learning as a process that can happen anytime, anywhere and as a process that is joyful, creative and driven by curiosity; to be bold and brave, believing in infinite possibility; to champion collaboration; to lead with moral purpose as our compass; and to prepare our students to contribute meaningfully to the world. We strongly believe that schools should be designed for children, not children for school. We pride ourselves in offering an experience for children, families and educators that is beyond compare and are defined by our unique learning culture. With a focus on building a staff team who are invested, passionate and exceptional educators, we are ensuring Green Square Public School stands out as a bright light for all that is possible in today’s educational landscape.
In that light, it is my deep commitment to lead courageously and nurture our unique learning culture into the future. My goal is that every child, starts each day running towards learning and life at Green Square. My hope is that they will embrace school life with anticipation, enthusiasm and delight, nurtured in the care of the very best staff team we could hope for.
