At Green Square Public School we provide a range of support for students with additional learning needs so they can participate in all areas of school life and experience educational success.
Support that fits your child's needs
We work closely with students and families to develop support plans and adjustments that suits each child’s individual needs and interests.
Additional learning support can include:
- educators and specialist staff working collaboratively with families to develop individual learning plans and supportive systems
- specialist support for students learning English as an additional language or dialect (EAL/D)
- specialist support for students who have recently migrated to Australia
- tailored programs to support high potential and gifted students in the intellectual, physical, creative and social-emotional domain
- tailored programs to provide targeted literacy and numeracy support
Learning and support team
Our learning and support team meets regularly to ensure every student is supported at school. The learning and support team works with families, educators and specialist staff to:
- plan individual adjustments and supports
- monitor student progress and achievement
- connect families and students with support services.
