Stage 1 at Green Square Public School
At Green Square Public School, we are excited to welcome Stage 1 students (Years 1 and 2) as they join our vibrant school community. Transitioning to a new school is an important step, and we are committed to ensuring a smooth and supportive start for every child.
Our innovative approach to education fosters creativity, curiosity, and independence, helping students build strong foundations for lifelong learning. Through engaging and dynamic learning experiences, we encourage students to embrace challenges, think critically, and develop resilience.
2025 Stage 1 Students: Transition to Green Square Public School
To support our enrolled Stage 1 students and their families as they begin their journey at Green Square, we offer:
- Stage 1 Parent Information Evening: This event allows our staff to connect with you, share insights into your child’s learning journey, and discuss topics such as curriculum, home learning, school organisation, uniforms and transport.
- Orientation Sessions: In 2025, we will hold two orientation sessions for Stage 1 students to explore our temporary site, meet our educators, and connect with classmates.
- Individual Learning Conferences: As part of our 2025 starting school program, all enrolled families will be invited to book in an appointment for an individual learning conference with one of our executive staff. Learning conferences are held between July - November, 2025. We value collaborative partnerships with families to ensure every child thrives in their new environment.
