Canteen- The Seagrass Cafe
Our school has been built with a large, modern and very well equipped canteen that is located on the ground floor of the school in between the Lumina (our auditorium) and the Nexus (our hall).
The canteen will be called The Seagrass Cafe in honour of the beautiful dugongs that feature in the public artwork which is central to The Gathering Green. As we are a new school, we won't be using the canteen space as a regular operating canteen until 2027. This is to allow our student numbers to grow to the point that the canteen service will be a viable operation for the operator who takes it on. The school will go to tender for a canteen operator in Semester 2 2026. We will look forward to having a vibrant, healthy canteen in the future.
Canteen opening times
We look forward to opening The Seagrass Cafe in 2027 as a regular operating canteen. In the meantime, we will use the space for catering and events that form part of our school calendar.
